Cascading Combo Boxes

I am trying to design a database to enable users to choose a verse based on 2 parameters: Event type (e.g. Birthday), with a second parameter which defines a particular parameter (e.g. 60th)
I have 3 combo boxes that I want to choose a verse from the list in the Verse table.
There are 3 tables which I have called, Event, Sub-Event and verse.
In the first Combo the user chooses the type of event(eg. Birthday) in the second combo they choose the sub event type (e.g. 60th)
Based on these 2 parameters the database needs to filter the verses table to only show verses that fit the criteria set by the 2 combo boxes. when the user chooses the specific verse, I want to print the verse on a piece of paper in a specific location.
However that is probably out of the scope on this post.

Yeah Sandra's got it that's definitely a good case for cascading combo boxes and as far as printing it in a specific location on the paper do you mean that each different verse might have its own specific location or they all need to be printed in a single specific location? Because if it's the former then you could just store that location in the table with the record and then you could adjust it dynamically in the report but that's a lot more work but but get the combo boxes working first.
