Can Access Do an Eyedropper Function
Richard Garber

I'm thinking of a new app I would like to write for myself. I do 3D Modeling and one aspect of it is to create what's called Color IDs. What I'm looking to see if Access can do a eyedropper function where I click on an eyedropper icon and then move the eyedropper over to the 3D modeler to copy a solid color into its database. Then I would add a field to say what that color is being used for, like Brick, silver metal, green trashcan, etc. And that's really all I need the app to do. Can this be done? - Rich

As a work around you could use the Color Picker utility from PowerToys.

Thanks Alex, food for thought. Good idea.
