I've come across this multiple loading problem before, can't find how I fixed it but I'll have another look.
The default page is annoying to, I think I deleted the object and readded it to reset it because other things didn't work.

One thing I've been working on recently was parsing a HTML page first with the Webbrowser control then I moved to an HTML document reference.

Add in the Reference (VBA Window | Tools | References)
"Microsoft HTML Object Library"

Dim HTML As HTMLDocument
Dim tHTML As New HTMLDocument
Set HTML = tHTML.createDocumentFromUrl(URL, vbNullString)
    
Do While HTML.ReadyState <> "complete": DoEvents: Loop

You can then use the HTML object however you want.

HTML.getElementsByTagName("table")
or .Document.ALL
If you know your DOM elements you can get properties etc.

You could download the website locally to work with then delete it after if you wanted.
The URL can be to a file on your local machine.
