Multi-select Column Header

Do you have a video on a multi-select column header to filter a continuous form? I found this on Isladogs and love the idea. When I did a YouTube search, I didn't find one for you. The link to it is https://isladogs.co.uk/multiselect-filter-continuous-form/index.html.

He covers something similar to this in the extended cut for the Multiple Field Find video.

Is that feature just for tables/queries? I can only speak for myself, but I usually only use forms to search and filter through records instead of tables. However I haven’t seen a video from him that covers this specifically.

Alex It filters forms like Excel does.

Yeah, I show that in my Filter Records video. You'll see it around the 2 minute mark. It works well for small lists, like in the video where I show a list of states, but if you've got thousands of customers in there, that gets kind of unruly.

But as always, thank you very much for the suggestion, and do keep them coming.

Richard Your video shows how to do it in a table.  The one I mentioned let me do the same thing for Forms.

Indeed! I'll definitely have to take another look at it then. Thanks again. :)

Richard While we're talking about suggestions, pass through queries would be a good video. I didn't see any videos from you on Pass Through queries. I know you cover them in your SQL Server Online Seminar, but maybe someone who uses SQL Server who can't afford the seminar could benefit.
