Microsoft released a new Access bug fix report today for Preview Version 2606 (Build 16.0.20131).

Most of the fixes are related to the new Zoom feature they've been adding to Access. There are a bunch of improvements for zoom behavior, including better support for ACCDE/MDE files, Continuous Forms, Print Preview, tab controls, date pickers, dropdown lists, multiple monitor setups, and accessibility support for screen readers.

A couple of notable non-zoom fixes:

- Fixed an issue where German keyboards (AltGr key combinations) were triggering zoom shortcuts instead of typing special characters.
- Fixed a query engine bug where certain IS NULL predicates could return incorrect data or generate internal errors.
- Improved the Linked Table Manager by clarifying some confusing relink messages.
- Reduced flickering and unnecessary CPU usage when horizontally scrolling forms.

If you're on the Microsoft 365 Current Channel, you won't see these yet. They're currently in the Preview build and should roll out to everyone after additional testing.

It's nice to see the Access team continuing to actively improve both performance and usability.
