Working Directory Issue
Debbie Heaney

I've been working on a project for my work. I've been doing at home using my N.A.S. drive (Mapped to Z:) so i can go between my laptop and desktop to suit my mood.
Today my supervisor asked me to go into the office to help with a spreadsheet issue.
I took my laptop with me.
I got to showing my Supervisor the current state of the database.
The file is on the local C: drive.
On opening the datebase I got an error about the working director. Image to follow...

There is nothing in the code tying anything to the Z: drive.
I am using CurrentProject.Path in two places.
I've tried switching the code to use the full C: path, without success.

Two questions:
(1) how to I get the database to recognize the C: and not the Z:?
(2) if i can get my own computer to recognize the C: and open properly on my own machine what are the chance of the system not recognising the file path on my work machines?

Go it.
File --> Options --> Default Database Folder.

N.A.S. (network attached storage) requires your computer to be on the same network as your storage.
