I am trying to convert Access 2021 32bit to 64 bit. 32Bit compiles this code with no errors:  

Private Function StripZ(ByVal S As String) As String

    tripZ = Left$(S, lstrlen(StrPtr(S)))
    
End Function

64Bit errors at tripZ..........(StrPtr() [Specifically (StrPtr()]

     with "Compile error----Type mismatch

Can anyone tell me why this happens with 64 Bit version?
