It sounds like you need to filter the teacher combo box based on the course selected for that particular StudentCourse record.

Build a query that joins your TeacherCourse junction table to Teachers, and set the CourseID criteria to the CourseID on your StudentCourse form. Then use that query as the Row Source for the teacher combo box. After the course changes, requery the teacher combo:

TeacherCombo.Requery

The important part is that the teacher list must be based on TeacherCourse, not just the Teachers table. That way, Access only shows teachers assigned to the selected course.

If the CourseID control is on a subform, make sure the query references the correct form and control path. For example:

Forms!StudentCourseF!CourseID

Or, if you are doing this from a main form with a subform, the reference may need to be:

Forms!MainForm!StudentCourseSubform.Form!CourseID

The exact reference depends on where the controls are. Also, make sure you requery the teacher combo after selecting or changing the course, otherwise it may continue showing the previous course's teachers.

William yeah, once you click on a notification, it goes away. There's a setting for that on the bottom of the notifications page if you want to keep them around.
