Relink Tables and Update Backend Path
Rudolpho Galicia

Greeting Rick,

Its been a while and well I know your crazy business, I have decided to purchase your Accounts Balances Template, very cool by the way. I might change a few colors lol, anywho, Once I opened the template and "POW" the Microsoft VB for Applications Window popped up with an Error message highlighted in yellow (one of my favorite colors "not" lol)

" WinTop = CLng(GetSetting("WinTop"))

I'm bewildered, please let know it if i broke something lol, Thank you Sir,

May the Schwartz Be with you,
Rudy Galicia

Relink the Tables and this issue should be eliminated.
Remember to also change PathFile for Sample Data.
The Tables and the Company Name Path File should point to the Backend on your system.

Howdy Rudy. Good to hear from you!

Kevin is right - relink the tables and make sure the PathFile setting for the sample data/company name points to the backend location on your system. That should clear up the error. If it doesn't, let me know and we'll dig into it.

Also, I've actually been working on an AI-powered update to this template. I've been testing it myself for the past couple of weeks, having it read the balances from your bank or credit card website and automatically fill those values in. It's not ready for release yet, but I just added some tweaks to it, so it's coming down the pipe soon.

Hey there Kevin and Richard,

It's been a while since i tried the Re-Link he tables, and wouldn't you know, no more errors lol. Thank you, both for the great pointing me in the right direction. Again, thank you both.

Looking forward to your updates and improvements as it progresses. No to start putting some of my date in.

Thank you Again,

Rudy G

Awesome. Glad that did it, Rudy. Once the tables are relinked and the PathFile is pointing to your local backend, it should be smooth sailing.

And absolutely, make it your own with whatever colors you like. Have fun getting your data entered!
