Access Issue or Laptop Issue

Happy Saturday everyone! While working with certain Access Forms that I have developed, I run into an issue where when I move the cursor or the form resizes itself and either expands very large or shrinks very low. At that point I check to see what record I am on, then close the form and reopen to get back to the desired size and the desired location. Anyway, could this be an issue I can correct in Access or an actual hardware issue with my Lenovo Thinkbook? I ran into this issue on a different device years ago (also with a different program), so I'm thinking that it could be Laptop based. Any thoughts?

Your laptop's touchpad may be defective. Plug a regular mouse into your laptop's USB port and see if it works.

Like Kevin said, it sounds more like an accidental touchpad input than an Access setting, especially if the form is resizing while you're moving the cursor. A touchpad can occasionally interpret a drag, pinch, or edge gesture when you don't intend it to. Try using an external mouse for a while and, if possible, temporarily disable the touchpad in Windows. If the problem disappears, you've found the culprit. Access does have an Auto Resize form property, but that only affects how the form opens. It shouldn't cause a form window to randomly grow or shrink while you're working with it.

I normally use an external mouse in my office, but don't have one in my apartment.
