I'm really excited about this one! I have a database I use as an interface to update numbers in a SQL server table and there are A LOT of fields. I've had to divide them into multiple forms to accommodate different screen sizes. I have a separate label for the element name and for the element's pieces. For example, Total Gateway Cost, Act, Pln, %Eff, and Tier are 5 different labels. I'll never only want part of Total Gateway Cost. I'm wondering if I tag the labels and the text boxes as GtwyCost can I treat all 9 items as one? And how would I go about that? I'll add a pic below.

If that's the case, I would make that whole group one big multi-line label. Give it the same name as the first control, and treat it as one unit. If the other labels don't exist, they won't throw errors when the code runs.

I thought of that, where I ran into a wall was moving the other text boxes. If I removed the middle group and need to move the last one to the left......I think I see it now. What a help a couple nights of sleep make! lol Thanks!

I always say sleeping on a problem is one of the best ways to solve it. I've stayed up until 3 in the morning some nights racking my brain over why something won't work the way I know it should, or trying to figure out how to make it more efficient.

You get it to the point where it's almost finished, but that last little piece is still bugging you. Sleep on it, and because your brain was chewing on it before bed, the answer often just pops into your head the next morning. Usually over coffee or in the shower. Lol.

Looks like I need to go back to sleep now. The labels now shrink up to the width of their first column, and my division column went bye-bye 'cause it's a combobox.

Sleep for the win again! I just commented out the F.Controls(C.Name & "Lbl").Width = C.Width line. I'd still love to show/hide groups with a single click on something. Gonna go mull that one over.
