Access for Microsoft 365 is rolling out support for much larger forms and reports in Current Channel Version 2609, according to Karl Donaubauer's September 24 Access Forever report. The article ties the rollout to the September 22 release and notes that activation is gradual, so availability can differ between installations.

The change removes the long-standing roughly 22-inch design limit, giving developers more room for wide dashboards, detailed forms and large report layouts. Microsoft's earlier Big Forms announcement explains the benefits for ultrawide screens, multiple monitors and accessibility.

There are compatibility and VBA details to check before deployment: the new dimensions require Access for Microsoft 365, and oversized forms or reports will not open in older versions that lack support. When setting larger dimensions through VBA, use the Properties collection because the traditional direct size properties still have integer limits.
