A newly documented Access display bug can hide text boxes in continuous forms while users scroll through records. The October 23 update to Colin Riddington's Access bug summary lists Version 2610 and later as affected.

The reported combination is specific: a text box with a transparent background sits over another text box used for conditional formatting, the form is zoomed below 100%, and records are scrolled with the mouse. Some text boxes can then become partly or completely invisible. Developers using overlapping controls for row formatting should check that combination in their forms.

Riddington reports that the Access team has reproduced the issue and intends to fix it. The summary does not identify a released fix or a delivery date. See the October Access bug summary, item d for the affected setup and current status.
