Microsoft now says the Access Version 2610 problem that could prevent reports from opening or exporting to PDF has been fixed. The issue produced an incorrect message about insufficient memory or disk space in some databases. An October 28 update to the Access team's announcement changes the earlier planned-fix notice to a released-fix confirmation.

Microsoft's Current Channel release notes list Version 2610, Build 20527.20112, released October 28. The Access Blog's update prints the shorter number 16.0.2052.20112, apparently omitting a digit; the release notes provide the full published build number. The Access team advises using Update Now to obtain the update.

This confirmation concerns the report/PDF error, not every Access crash or memory problem. After updating, test the reports and PDF exports that previously failed. See Microsoft's updated Access announcement and the Current Channel release notes.
