I have a main form that loads a second form for entering data. The second for has multiple fields for entering data. The first data field in this form is a list box. When entering the same part number in the form, it auto populates the form with data from the record that relates to that part number. I need to be able to enter the same part number in some instances and have it be a unique record.

When entering information in the first datafield "Part Number" and a duplicate part number is entered, it will show the picture in the subform that was loaded for that part number.

When the form is initially loaded, it does open as a new record.

My question is how do I make it where the same part number can be entered twice and be it's own unique record.
