will you have any error handling tips in tricks added to that section?


I'd like to know how to direct a user, who starts entering data in a subform before entering data in the parent form, by giving him a msgbox that says "you must enter the primary data first" and when they click ok a gotocontrol takes the user to the first field in the Parent form...  follow me?

This really isn't considered "error handling." It's just event programming. All you really have to do is just check the value of Forms!ParentForm!ID whenever any data is entered into any field in the subform. If that value is NULL, then don't allow them to proceed.
