i have a table that has all my in coming shipments and i have a table that has empty bin locations, i am trying to set it up so it will assign a empty location to each new item. i can get it to kind of work but it wants to put all the items in the first empty location on the list how do i get it to go down the list for each item?

This would all depend on how your data is set up. You could use DLOOKUP to find an empty bin.
