After watching Data Encrypt seminar, I wanted to create a module where the date in the Parent Form is sent to a module and is sent back to the child form in that date field so that both the Parent and the child subform will always have the the same value even if the parent form value changed.  
I keep getting this error. Compile Error expected variable , procedure not module.  
Is the Date filed info a string, or integer..or...?? and can I do a formula where the module data called "sync" transfer the return value to a subform.  like Date = "sync"(Forms!ChildF!Date)  

I tried the default vale and it only works when the data is null. Once you change the data the default data doesn't update and sync with Parent's date field.

How about just a simple OnGotFocus event in the field(s) of the subform to get the time off the parent form?
