I have just completed your seminar on access security. I love this course and had gain valuable experience from watching your tutorials.

Question:
I import quite a bit of excel files into my database. Now that I have the backend protected with a password. I'm not able to append my data into the backend tables. When I remove the password from the backend, then I'm able to update these tables.

I would appreciate if your able to point me in the right direction on how to overcome this issue.

If your back-end is protected with a single database password, that will prevent most other applications from accessing it. You may have to put your import routine in a form inside your BACK-END database and perform the import there once you've opened that file. OR, you can put the back-end file in a protected shared folder as I show in the Split Database Seminar.
