Instructional Label Inside of Text Box or ComboBox
Jerry R

That was my first thought. Does Not work with bound form fields formatted as Currency, Number or Date/Time. I was able to get this to work by doing the following:

LABEL INSIDE OF TEXT BOX   ANY DATATYPE FORMATTED TEXTBOX
1.Create a Textbox that will serve as your Form Field Label
2.Select Textbox  Property Sheet  ALL   Name:Give the Textbox a Unique Name - ex. LabelAmount
3.In the  Format field Enter:  @;   Your Instructions   - ex. @  Enter Amount
4.Lock Label Textbox and Remove Textbox Label as well as the Label for the Form Field: Property Sheet  Data Lock = yes
5.Select  Form Field  Property Sheet  Other Name: Give the Form Field a Unique Name - ex. SalaryField
6.In the Current Event of your form and the After Update Event of the Form Field:
If Me.YourFormFieldName & "" = "" Then
    Me.YourLabelTextboxName.Visible = True
Else
    Me. YourLabelTextboxName.Visible = False
End If
7.Make your label Textbox the same size as your Form Field Textbox, and align them on top of each other.
8.Right-Click the Label Textbox  Position  "Send to Back" to place the Label Textbox under the Form Field Textbox
9.Set the Form Field Textbox Backstyle Property to Transparent.

IF the first row of the TAB ORDER is a Form Field, the Instruction Message will not be displayed for that Field on Form Open. To resolve:

10.Create another Textbox in an unused part of your form.
11.Select  the Textbox  Property Sheet Other  Name: Give the Textbox a Unique Name - ex. OnFormOpenCursorPlaceholder
12.Lock the textbox
13.Remove  the Textbox Label
14.Set Tab Order   Make the OnFormOpenCursorPlacehold the first row.
15.Change BorderStyle to Transparent
Note: Do NOT make this field NOT Visible or this will not work
16.Done

If you know of a better way, please let me know. Thanks.
