I have a database where I am keeping track of school books. I have pretty standard inventory calculation (books needed) - Books in stock. And that is working fine.

I have a second caclulation where I am testing an indicator to determine if the book is a teachers edition and if so to force the quantity needed to 1 so my IIF looks like this

=iif(TE=True,order=1,booksneeded - booksinstock). I can't force the count to 1 and the listbox is showing #error. Any ideas.

Your IIF function is not formatted correctly. You can only have ONE equality in there.

=IIF(CONDITION, value if true, value if false)

So this might be a valid IIF function:

=iif(TE=True, 1, booksneeded - booksinstock)

But you can't say "order=1" for the VALUE IF TRUE.
