Hi, I made the mistake of using lookup tables for my database.  I use lookup tables for location, and other things.  We have 4000 entries and counting.  Is there any way to change to a combo box without messing up past data and still be able to look up new archived data?  I know my question is not clear, probably because I don't quite understand how to make the change, yet, and how it would affect previous data. Thank you for any help.

That's really hard to say without seeing your database.

If you want to change WHERE the data comes from to maintain compatibility with an old table, you could always use a UNION QUERY to bring together the new set of data with the old set in a single result.
