I have created a database to track inspections on vehicles.  I have a "violations" field.  Because the deficiencies can be long, I have the field as a memo as opposed to text.  For some reason, I enter the data into the memo field but when I close out the form, some of the data is deleted.  Any clue as to where I can look to find out what the problem is? It was not doing this earlier.  I have 87 records so far and each record has multiple lines of text in the memo field.

Hi Roger,
Are you copying and pasting the data into the Memo Field?
Is it only a couple of lines of text?
Double check the Field in the Table is Memo and it isn't just Text.

I presume you're using Access 2010 and not 2013 since they changed them from Text and Memo to Short Text and Long Text
