Okay I'll try to explain it as good as possible.

I have 5 different forms and sometimes users have to open more than one at same time. Each form has its own search command. It finds the information with no problem at all.

I want to avoid people closing  form-1  to open  form-2  and so on  because pending on the request we have to open a different form.

My though was to create one  main  form (or navigation form) and then add forms 1, 2, 3  in each different tabs so nobody needs to be closing and opening forms all the time.

The problem is that when you insert the  form-1  into  tab-1  the search command gives an error message and doesn t work anymore.

Here s the message
The action or method is invalid because the form or report isn t bound to a table or query.

Without seeing your database I really can't tell you what the problem is. You're probably not referring to the target field properly. I would recommend ditching the tabs and just opening three separate forms. You can make them modal and popup so they stay on top and you have to close each one before opening another.
