I have an Order Form that I wish to have each new order record default to one of the choices, "UPS Ground", in my shipping Combobox. "UPS Ground" is ShipperID number "1" in my table. The combo box currently comes up blank of course when I select a new record. Here are some of the properties of the combobox".

Control Source: ShipperID

Row Source: SELECT [ShipperT].[ShipperID], [ShipperT].[ShipperName] FROM ShipperT ORDER BY [ShipperName];

Row Source Type: Table/Query

Bound Column: 1

Limit To List: Yes

Allow Value List Edits: Yes

List Items Edit Form: ShipperF

Everything else seems to work normally with the combobox.

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

If you select the Combo and open the Property Sheet there is a Default Value.
If your bound column is a Number you can set this value to 1
