I'm a beginner leaning Access and building a simple database for my business.  I've worked through a lot of stumbling blocks, learning lessons with each one.  This one seems like it MUST be so simple, but it's got me frustrated. I'm building a report off of a query and I want to use a couple of line graphs. For example, I have a date field and a test result field, in this case body weight.  I simply want to a chart (graph, whatever) that is a line graph of weight gain/loss charted over time. For some reason the Chart Wizard isn't getting me there...I must be missing something stupid.  There is no summing, counting, averaging...just simply each test date along the x-axis and the corresponding weight on the y-axis. Basic as can be..but ...grrrrr!  Any help appreciated, detailed please.

I'll have to test this out when I've got a db I front of me to be sure but Charts can be a little oick in Access but usually the wizard does a good job of getting the right data.
Try basing it on a CrossTab Query.

Anyone else built graphs?
