This message is what I get from clicking on a dropbox in my subform, the dropbox is looking for the variable "Result" in table "ContactT", and it reads:
"You tried to run a Visual Basic procedure to set a property or method for an object. However, the component doesn't make the property or method available for Automation operations. Check the component's documentation for information on the properties and methods it makes it available for Automation operations"

Is this a Macro you have on your Combo?
What code did you add?
If you are trying to set a value you might need to reference the full name - Forms![FORMNAME]![FIELDNAME]
