Hi Alex,
I have two questions I would like to ask you, when I look at a query in design view it gets displayed in SQL, what would I have to do to get it to be displayed as originally designed.
My second question is when I tried to import a Excel file into Access,  I'm getting the following message, "The search key was not found in any record".  I've been doing this for years and this is the first time that I got this message.

There should be a drop down top left that changes between the views, try Design View from that

Import

Check Locks on Fields in spreadsheet
If importing to existing tables try to import to a new table. If this fixes it then the fields in the spreadsheet don't match the table.
No special Characters in column names
If a new table doesn't work there could be file corruption
Mismatched workgroup file versions
Field Formatting
Blank Spaces in the spreadsheet fields
