I have three forms: an open project form, a subform with a list of activities, and an activity form.  I have a button on the project form that opens the single record activity form.
What I want to do is to create a button on the activity form that will take me back to the open project form, update the list on the subform, and then close the activity form.
Can you help?

Are you wanting to do this via Macros or VBA?

You could have a
DoCmd.OpenForm "ProjectF"
Forms!ParentForm!SubForm.Form.Requery (replace names ParentForm and SubForm)
DoCmd.Close acForm, "ActivityF"
