hello everybody to whom this may concern I need help with a VBA parse word function I don't know how to use it and I'm not too sure how to script the proper syntax...with me personally the issue is this, I have a data entry form and the properties in one particular field their set to a maximum of 70 characters what happens is that when it reaches 70 characters it'll automatically go to a new record line which is okay because I already have it programmed that way using VBA code...what I would like to do is take the last text string characters which would be part of the a word and move it to the new record line using the Parseword function...any help would be greatly appreciated thanks again I hope to hear from someone soon!...

You could use InStrRev Function to find the last space (" ") character, then do a Right on the whole Field, get that last word and add it to the new record.
