I just finished watching Expert Lvl3, & it's introduction to sub-forms has (I think) confirmed my trial-&-error experimentation using forms embedded in the form header/footer sections of other forms to create - in effect - a "global" (i.e. one change for many) header/footer for the GUI-esque frontend I am developing.

BUT, before I get too carried away (my focus should really be on the queries & reports!)

Is this a viable way to work, or a definite NO-NO for how it "should" be done?

As in, am I going to get to the later (ie. Advanced) lessons and find VB/SQL/HTML/? is the better/best/optimum way to do this kind of layout thing?

How complex is the Header/Footer?
Depending what you are showing might change the answer.
You could have a web view that links to a local HTML file.
