I have to make a database for a car lot.
They sell cars and finance them. I confused on which tables to make and repeating data. I have a table for autos and customers. When a customer buys a car I'm not sure about the tables. Should I have the car data a separate car sold table? Or should I add the customer data to the car table? Or should I have a table for autos, customers, auto sold? Either way I see duplicate data, I'm confused how to do this.

I'd have a Table for Cars and a Table for Customers
You could have an ID in either Table that is either CustomerID or CarID and put in who bought what.
