Hi, I have just one problem with my databases - I can create them initally and put in fields etc, but then when I go to actually start putting data in to them I get a message saying about saving and then I probably panic and lose it all,  what am i doing wrong,  once I have created the data base how do I get it to be a long term  one that I can access -  really want to get this been plugging away for years at this problem,  sometimes I have obviously done or clicked something that keeps it but cant understand what - Smiles

Reply from Alex Hedley:

is this for every table and form you are creating?
Try creating a blank new database
create 1 table with 1 field
then make a form based on that table and try adding data
