Perpetual Loop
Scott Adkins

Hello again everyone. I posted a while ago regarding a problem that I am still having. I have found a couple of things and more questions, so wanted to put it out there again. Anyone's input would be greatly appreciated.

Short Story: User Form. I have several fields that I use strconv to convert name fields to vbProperCase.
Since Form does not have a "Control Change" event, the code is a custom procedure in a Class Module.
Link to Code:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10655262/active-control-change-event-ms-access

Everything works great until Class_Terminate. Stepping through, I found it is running the sub twice.
Basically, it goes through the objects in the class module and when the procedure runs. Objects are cleared then it restarts the sub. (Kinda makes sense I guess because we are changing the objects in procedure, which fires Class_Terminate.)

On the second pass, the code crashes Access. I pretty much thought to was in a perpetual loop (make the collection, terminate the collection), but I dont think that is it because stepping through, the code crashes when the procedure should be at End Sub.

I have Tried:
Decompile several times-no change
Error Trapping-No Errors are thrown

Flag the second trip through to go to
Exit Sub-Does Nothing
End - Does Nothing
GOto ExitLine-Does Nothing.

The only thing I cannot seem to find is if there are specific library references needed for WithEvents, Collections, or Class Modules.

And to deepen the plot, the exact same code works on my NextBook. But no other machine. All are running access 16 from  Office 365.

Reply from Alex Hedley:

I wouldn't have thought you'd need any extra libs or it would shout when you compile

So even On Error Resume Next does nothing.

Does the Windows Event Logger show anything?
