I am using a command button to a form that has a combo box. The command button opens a form to allow user to add an entry into the table on which the combo box is displaying values from. But when user closes the table, the added entry doesn't display in the combo box - user has to close form and reopen. I added RefreshRecord to the event macro both when opening the table and closing it but that doesn't work. Does anyone know which lesson this was covered in or otherwise can tell me how to fix? Do you mind using VBA instead of Macros
You need to call a COMBOBOX.Requery referencing the original form when you close the one you added to.
