Hi Alex. After looking up my problem on other people I found a simple answer. I deleted the subform and created a new one (same as the old one) now it works. Would have been good to know why but at least i can move on. Un fortunatly one problem leads to another. I want to create an invoice more or less the same as the one in Expert 9. Every thing looks fine, however when i look at the report I get a page for each line on the subform. Example; if there is 1 line I get one report page, if there is 5 lines I get 5 pages for the same person. I have watched the tutorial over and over and can not see anything different. I have noticed that in the subform it is giving each line a different ID. I cannot work out how this is happening.Any suggestion would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks again for your help and time.

Each record will have it's own id.

If you right click on the detail section you can set if it's a new page or not.
