I have completed the Beginner s videos of Access 2010. What I now would like to do is to launch a sample database that I have created using Access 2010 Runtime. This will be on a computer that does not have any version of Access installed. Eventually, I would like to have a user be able to add new records through the forms I have created and to publish reports (also already created) without having to have the full version of Access installed.
I have downloaded and installed Access 2010 Runtime on a clean computer. However, the Access database file will not open.
What are the specific steps necessary to open and use an Access database with Runtime?

Create and accde file in the Save As.
I think you can then change the extension to accdr.
