Hi all I have a Db that works extremely well on a local machine that has access 2016 installed. I have since split the back end and front end. The back end runs on a server with a mapped drive and the front end has no problem with pulling or writing to the DB, providing access is installed. However if I try and run the 2016 either X64 or X86 runtime it is always crashing in the runtime. On selecting the date now portion.

This is the line of code I have

Private Sub Student_Change()
If Not IsNull(Me.student) Then
Me.AttendanceDate = Format(Now, "short date")
End If
End Sub

I have tried Me.AttendanceDate = Date also but this also is crashing.

Can anyone please please help I am getting bold here pulling out my hair trying to figure this out.
