I have built a db (Access 2016) where the tables are linked to sharepoint.  As I develop this further I find working slow and cumbersome because of the online aspect of the tables.  I have tried a variety of options such as convert to local tables and even importing queries and forms from a local version but each has it's own limitations and problems.

If I take my whole machine offline, this works fine but of course not a comfortable solution for  me.

When I go into Options / Customize Ribbon / External Data I have an item Web Linked Lists which when toggled has all the features to take the db offline that I desire.

My problem is that I cannot get this to appear in my Access even though it has been added to my Main Tabs.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very ... very much obliged.
