I have an issue in my investment DB calculating investment value.. I have an InvestmentT with all the details of each investment. I have a PurchaseT to provide details of each purchase and costs of the investments. And I have an InvestmentValueT for all the current prices. The InvestmentValueT is updated each month with the current shares and share price and a query calculates the two give me current Investment Value. I am trying to create a portfolio value(all the investments) for the month using the sum of the InvestmentValue calculations. Question... How do I sum the Investment value based on the dates the prices were updated so I will have a sum for each month?  I tried "Group By" unsuccessfully.  I need some detailed help please.
