Push notifications generally refer to something that gets sent to you when the application isn't open, instead of you opening it up and requesting it. As long as Access is running in the background on your computer, you can make it open itself up, show a notification form, or even PUSH a notification to your phone (text, email). All depends on what you want to do. It will involve a background TIMER event so Access can check whatever criteria you want on a regular basis.
