Unable to open a form

Got a problem I was working on revamping a form and now I can not open the form in any way (double click or in design view). When I try to open the form it tells me that it can't then close the form backsup the database and reopens it. Any way to open it to see what happened? Also I am unable to export or import this form

Interesting. Have you tried a compact and repair of the database?

Yes compact and repaired several times. Would do it each time it would close Access and reopen Access.

Have you tried opening the database with the VBA disabled? When you double-click on the icon for the ACCDB file, hold the SHIFT key. This will bypass the startup (form or macro). Maybe something funky is running on startup. Other than that, I'd really have to see it to tell you what's wrong. If compact didn't fix it, I dunno. My next suggestion was going to be export the form into a blank database. But it seems you've tried that.

It sounds like the same problem I had and I believe I fixed it. What I did: I copied the form and renamed it to "copy of ... " then I removed the form that didn't opened. Finally I renamed the "Copy of ..." to the original name and it worked!
