Access Customer Form Date

Richard, I am so glad I found your programs, they are helping me out tremendously,  I work for the Dept of the Army as a safety technician.  I am using your customer data base to track accidents.  I am trying to figure out how to add days to a date.  I have a date of an accident, in the next column is a date that is needed when a report is due. it looks like this:
Date of Accident   Report due
07/17/2020          date of accident + 25 days  then it would show the date the report is due.

How can I do this?

Hi Michael. Welcome. I see you've only purchased my Customer List Form Template, so you haven't taken any of my beginner courses, but this is something I cover in Access Beginner 9. Basically, you just add 25 days to the date in your field. Put that in a new calculated field. You can do it directly in a form by setting the Control Source of the new field to:

=OriginalDate+25

Or you can do what I recommend which is to use a query and make a new Calculated Field like this:

NewField: OriginalDateField+25

That should get you started.
