Hey Richard,

I have consumed all the "mycourses" and most of your free videos....which course should I purchase to develop the ability to click on a record in a continuous form to take me to xxxx (another form, table and/or query)

Well, there's a combo box method that's easy but lacking in options in Access Beginner 7. You can create a command button to do that Access Expert 2. You can open a report to a specific record in Access Expert 5. You can do it with a macro in Access Advanced 1. With VBA I teach DoCmd.OpenForm in Access Developer 1. I teach the On Double Click macro event in Access Advanced 5. With VBA I teach the OnDblClick event in Access Developer 4.

So basically what you need is an OnDblClick event in your Customer (or whatever table) list form that runs a DoCmd.OpenForm with specific criteria. I'm pretty sure I have done this in a lesson before, but looking over my outline, I can't find it! I see that I've covered it in various seminars like the Work Order Seminar. It's something I build ALL the time.

Perhaps I should make a TechHelp video out of this... hmmm.... I'm trying to make them from popular topics, and I think you just made the list. Stay Tuned...
