Well, I have to say that personally I've always been more interested in functionality over form. Sure, I like to make my forms look good - well spaced fields, good color scheme, readable fonts, etc. - but aside from the basics, I never went overboard on making them look super pretty.

I don't have any courses on advanced form aesthetics, however if you find a particular interface design that you like, I'm sure I can show you how to recreate it in Access. I did a Google search on user form design aesthetics and I found a few interesting concepts. Tell your boss she's paying for the lessons though. :)
