I searched my TechHelp videos and my old Tips archive, and I don't recall ever making one of these types of videos specifically for DoCmd.OpenForm. I know I've used it in several TechHelp videos that were not specifically about that (more advanced lessons where I just use it - especially Extended Cut videos). I cover it in detail in Access Developer 1. But, it's a popular command and I probably should make a video about it. I know several other people have asked me questions about it's use recently too (I've got like 3 questions about it in the TechHelp queue). Perhaps a new video is warranted. In the mean time, Developer 1 is where you want to go for help on this command. All of Lesson 3 covers it. It's a GREAT intro to VBA course for everyone.

It's a good video for anyone new to VBA, or people who have done a little programming but just learned mostly from trial and error or Google searches. Nothing wrong with that (I do a lot of it myself), but sometimes you miss some key fundamentals.
