Hi Roy. What do you mean by TOC? The Table of Contents? Can you please be more specific?

The Glossary might be a good place to start.

As I've downloaded all the handbooks to go with the videos, I've created a "Table of Contents" (TOC) for each level, Beginner, expert, advanced, etc.  It's not yet complete for the whole series as I don't have all the videos.
The idea is that later as you begin to apply what you've learned in the lessons, you can find a topic quickly.  An index would also be useful but that's big job!
If Richard agrees, I can make these available to him for distribution.

Thanks, John. I'd be happy to see what you've put together. I've been building such an index since the beginning, as Alex pointed out. You can also use the SEARCH box to find specific topics. I'm in the process right now of putting together a hierarchal outline of all of the topics too:

1. Tables
   a. Properties
   b. Fields
2. Forms

And so on.

To all I keep returning to this Post and keep thinking about it.  Richard I like to see this as a new project but instead of you doing it have the students send in ideas as to how to develop this.  I for one am thinking a combination of the Genealogy Database, and Testing Database.  A combination of drop down to get and a windows media player.  A file picker to load the video  and play the course which have been purchased and downloaded.  Lets see what we can come up with.  any takers ????

Juan, there used to be a windows app: Amicron Video Player that let you view your courses and download, play them etc. It was discontinued in favour of the website.

Yeah, I stopped supporting the AVP because I didn't want to be in the software support business anymore. Supporting it with different versions of Windows and different players was a nightmare. This was back when people still had Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, etc. and every version ran differently. Windows Media Player didn't like some WMV files so I switched to MP4 and some older systems didn't like that. So I just decided no more. I have the video player available online and if you want to download the MP4 files you can, and they will play in whatever video software you use. I recently added a "tree" style list to the My Courses page, and that will be getting some upgrades soon. I only spent an hour or two on it before. I'm definitely open to suggestions, but I really don't want to have a "downloadable player" anymore.
