I am usibg the INSTR function and I am getting the Enter Paramer Vales for T.  The Commmand I am using is in the field called Names
BrPos: InStr([Names],T)
Access is putting the [] brackets and then I am getting the message
BrPos: InStr([Names],[T])

Any time you see "Enter Parameter Value" Access can't find the field you're looking for. Usually, this is because you spelled something wrong. In your case, it's kind of hard to spell "T" wrong. Is there a field called T in your query?

No T, I have tried other symbols and or letters with same results...
On a somewhat different idea, has any one said of problems with things not workinmg in the "windows" mode but does in a new database.  What I am refering to is the resizing of a text box abd the code of "msgbox Notes.Height and the Msgbox Notes.Width.  I save everything and exit and click my Command box with nothing happening....

You mean Overlapping Windows vs. Tabbed Interface? No. I haven't encountered that problem at all.

Is this MsgBox Field.Height and .Width only good once??  I can get it to work but when I exit and come back into it, I get nothing when clicking the command button.  And yes I saved it numerous times...This is using the Overlapping Windiws or not.

No, it should work continuously. That's quite weird. Run down the troubleshooter. Something seems wrong with your database.
