Hi All, In this title display "Manager II PSS 84rh" I'm trying to delete anything including the "PSS 84rh" to make it look like this Manager II In a query I have this function, Expr: Replace([title], "LIKE "PSS"*", "") but it is not working. I keep getting "The expression you entered contains invalid syntax." Can someone tell me what do I have to do to make this function work? PS. I have lots of different job titles with different characters after the PSS.

The Replace function doesn't support the LIKE keyword. It's just literal text. In this case:

Replace(Title," PSS 84rh","")

That should give you what your want.

If you want to eliminate everything after the PSS, then you're going to need to find the location of that substring with the INSTR function and chop it off with the LEFT function.
