Append Query

I have a problem with append query. I have a table which i want to append to another existing table. In the new table I have deleted the ID row with the primary key, not sure if that's right. I have followed your tutorials but keep getting "Microsoft Access cannot append or the records in the Append Query" in fact it does not append any. I'm sure i am just missing something simple but can't see it. HELP PLEASE

Do you have all of the fields matched up? If you are using the all fields * then you have to make sure each field from the source table exists in the destination table. Also check your indexing. If you have any other fields that are set to "Indexed no duplicates" then they won't append. And of course, run down the Troubleshooter. Always try a compact / repair first if you're having weird problems.

Got it working but Still confused about the Primary Key should i delete it from the new table

You can, sure. If you don't want it there, don't include it in the append. Just append the rest of the fields.
